Volunteering
I currently volunteer with Wilder International as a Communications Officer, helping to bring the charity's work and wildlife conservation projects to life through creative content.
I create content for their social channels and help with updates to the website. I've also had the chance to work on more traditional marketing materials, including designing a banner and leaflet for one of their pop-up events.
One of my bigger projects has been working on Wilder's annual charity calendar, where I've been involved in developing the concept and bringing the design together.
It's been a lovely opportunity to use my design and marketing experience for something I'm genuinely interested in, while also getting to experiment with different types of content and take on projects from start to finish.
Analysing the success
To track the success of the social pages and interactivity of the website I use both Meta Suite and Google Analytics. Both of these softwares help me to ensure the content released is targeting the correct audiences and is ultimately serving a purpose... If there are posts that don't work as well then I will re evaluate and change my direction.
